5. Obit: Betty Lou Reynolds Graveside services for Betty Lou Reynolds, 77, were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite with Rev. Ernie Williams officiating. Services directed by Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. She died Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman. The daughter of Eugene E. and Lena M. May, she was born November 10, 1928 in Tyler, Texas. She was a homemaker and a loving Christian mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include four daughters, Rhonda Yoacum and husband, Don of Osceola, Missouri, Patricia Millson and husband, Larry of Whitesboro, Betsy Carter and husband, Dave of Osceola, Missouri and Cathy Harmon of Apache Junction, Arizona; a brother, William E. May of Balch Springs; a sister, Mary Spencer of Balch Springs; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Rudolph Edward Downhour; her second husband, George Reynolds; and a sister, Sue May. (Whitesboro News-Record, Sep. 26, 2006)
