Charles Henri was baptized 21 Jul 1686 (used as proxy for DOB). He was the son of Charles Mahierer and Guillemette Desvaux.

On 29 Oct 1735, in St-Jean, Île d'Orléans, Charles Henri Mahier son of Charles Mahier and Guillemette Devaux married Marie Monique Houimet daughter of Louis Houimet and Marie Anne Genest. Witnesses included the bride's parents and her uncle Charles Genest. Several signatures including the groom and the bride's mother. The record is in poor condition and a large portion of the page is torn away. There is a portion of the page that suggests the groom's father was a witness. [1] [2] A transcription of the record done in 1943 is available on Family Search. The register was already in poor condition and the page torn at the time. [3]

There were no known children of this couple, they were married less than 2 months when Charles Maillet died.

Sieur Charles Maillet, 45 year old employee of the King in this country, died 15 Dec 1735. He was buried the next day in Notre-Dame de Québec. [4]
