Papineau, Rita - La famille annonce avec tristesse son décès, le mardi 6 novembre 2012, à l’hôpital Lady Minto de Cochrane, à l’âge de 83 ans. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Michel Papineau de Timmins, Gilbert (Diane) Papineau de Cochrane, Suzanne (Tim) Foster de North Bay, Lucie Papineau Lacelle d’Ottawa, Micheline (feu Conrad) Lafontaine de Cochrane, Guy (Francine) Papineau de Cochrane, Diane (James) Wilson de Sudbury.

Elle était la grand-mère bien aimée de 24 petits enfants et 21 arrière petits enfants.

Rita laisse aussi dans le deuil ses frères et sœurs: Imelda (Raymond) Vien, Gerry (Lucienne Paquet) Mayer, Rachelle Blaquiere, Vincent (Francine) Mayer, Jean-Paul Mayer, Annette Cyr ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents Pierre Mayer et Madeleine Faubert et une sœur Anne-Marie Guiho.

Mme Papineau aimait être avec sa famille, jouée au bingo avec ses amies et aussi faisait partie de La Vie Montante.

Tout en respectant les vœux de Rita et à la demande de la famille, la cérémonie à l’Église Transfiguration est réservé a la famille immédiate qui sera célébrer par le Révérend Père Rémi Lessard et Révérend Père Léo Papineau.

À la demande de la famille, les dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur et de l’accident vasculaire cérébral ou l’hôpital Lady Minto seraient appréciés.

In Loving Memory of Rita Papineau (nee Mayer) 1929 ~ 2012

Papineau, Rita–The family announces with sorrow her death at Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane on Tuesday, November 6th, 2012 at the age of 83. She will be sadly missed by her children: Michel Papineau of Timmins, Gilbert (Diane) Papineau of Cochrane, Suzanne (Tim) Foster of North Bay, Lucie Papineau Lacelle of Ottawa, Micheline (late Conrad) Lafontaine of Cochrane, Guy (Francine) Papineau of Cochrane and Diane (James) Wilson of Sudbury.

She was also a beloved grandmother to 24 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Rita also leaves in mourning her siblings: Imelda (Raymond) Vien, Gerry (Lucienne Paquet) Mayer, Rachelle Blaquiere, Vincent (Francine) Mayer, Jean-Paul Mayer, Annette Cyr as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents Pierre Mayer and Madeleine Faubert and her sister Anne-Marie Guiho.

Mrs. Papineau loved being around her family, play bingo with friends and was also a member of “La Vie Montante”.

As per Rita and her family's wishes the ceremony will be reserved for the family only and will be held at the Transfiguration Church with Reverend Father Rémi Lessard and Reverend Father Léo Papineau officiating.

Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Lady Minto Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
