Bessie Mayfield[1] was born on April 27, 1912, in Jennings, Louisiana, the child of Andrew Mayfield and Mary Caroline Phill. She married Clarence L Moore[2] on November 15, 1932. She died on January 31, 2007, in Houston, Texas[3], at the age of 94, and was buried there.
