Biography

Vital Records of Hannah (Maynard) Howe: Hannah was born in Framingham, Middlesex, Province of Massachusetts on 2 Apr 1759.^[1] She is the eighth born child and sixth daughter of Joseph Maynard and Abigail Gennings. Hannah married Ephraim Howe, son of Stephen Howe and Elizabeth Beaman in Marlborough on 20 Nov 1782.^[2] They had four children together, all born in Marlborough. 1) Moses b. 6 Oct 1783; 2) Betsey b. 17 May 1785; she died unm. on 30 May 1816; 3) Ephraim b. 31 Jul 1788; and 4) Abel b. 3 Jan 1793; he died on 12 Oct 1806 at age 13. Hannah died in Marlborough on 25 Jun 1795.^[3]
