Johanna "Anne" Carrington was the daughter of William Mayo and Francis Gould. Records in Barbados list her as Johanna, daughter of Will Mayo, baptized on 27 August 1712 in St. Philip.[1] She was brought to Virginia from Barbados in 1723 and was married to George Carrington about the year 1732.[2]
Anna (Mayo) Carrington was mother to eleven children. Sources claim she passed within days of Colonel Carrington in February of 1785.
