Bess Mayoh was a trained nurse and worked until her marriage in later life to Neville Stanley Hoelsken at Townsville, Queensland on the 3rd of October 1970.
Because of this training, Bess nursed her husband up until his passing on the 10th of June 2004, aged 83 years.
Bess Hoelsken never had children and passed away at Townsville, Queensland on the 10th of October 2005. [3] Her ashes were interred in the Raintree Rockery at the Woongarra Crematorium with Neville.
