5th Son of James A. McAllister (who served in R.N. Reserve. Served Boxer Riots 1900 - 1901) and Lilias Jane (Lily)(nee Park). All five brothers all enlisted. Described as 5 ft., 5¼ in., 120 lb., grey eyes and dark brown hair. Born in 1897. Married Myrtle Adelia Streader. Died 1st September 1970. Harold was known as Tex and was a farmer in the Monbulk district. He was Presbyterian.
