no other record of Hugh McAllister to be found, 1870 census, pension, death record except for the muster cards.
The only marriage record for Joseph Woods and Ellen is a Ellen Jane Weaver, so guess it is not a sister to Hugh.
The July 26, 1839 date of birth, I can not find again???
So for now I am going to remove it because the military records are blank for age. And have calculated year of birth from the 1860 census for the only Hugh McAllister that comes up..age 23 Pennsylvania.
