Ann (McAllister) McVannel was born in 1812 in Rothesay, Isle of Bute, Scotland, the daughter of Duncan Mcallister and Janet Mckirdy.[1] Ann was baptized 28 Feb 1813 in Rothesay.[2]
Ann married Hector McVannel (1804-1879) on 16 Feb 1833 in Kilcalmonell And Kilberry, Argyll, Scotland. Their children were:
Ann passed away in 1863 in Hillsburgh, Wellington County, Ontario, and was buried in Hillsburgh Pioneer Cemetery. Hillsburgh is now part of Erin, Wellington County.[5]
