Hi Louise,

Would this be your great-grandparents in your grandmother's marriage record? I found it at FamilySearch using the Research tool:

  • "New York, New York City Marriage Records, 1829-1940," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:24W9-6Q3 : 10 February 2018), Louise Mcallister in entry for Thomas Dent, Jr. and Louise Mcallister Young, 28 Sep 1920; citing Marriage, Manhattan, New York, New York, United States, New York City Municipal Archives, New York; FHL microfilm 1,643,956.

If so, you can add that paragraph as a source on her profile. To do that, visit the profile page and click the Edit tab. Copy that paragraph and paste it under the Sources heading in the edit box. Make any other adjustments and then click the Save Changes link in the dark green box. You can click the various name links on that page to get custom source citation paragraphs for the profiles of each identified family member.

The index record is attached to an image although it can only be accessed at an LDS Family History Center. If you have access to one, I recommend reviewing the image as it may contain clues to help you find more information.

I hope this helps!

Debi
