Mrs. Roland Doyle, 76, died Monday at St. Margaret's Hospital, Spring Valley, after several months of failing health. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ries Mortuary with the Rev. George Hunt, pastor of Henry Methodist church officiating. Internment will be in the Henry cemetery. Visitation at the Ries Mortuary will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Doyle, the former Louise McAllister, is survived by two sons, Lawrence and Wilbur, and two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Lucille) Bogner, and Mrs. C. F. (Elizabeth) Woodfill of Chillicothe, also two brothers, Ben McAllister of Mt. Sterling and John McAllister of Danvers and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Louise H. (McAllister) Doyle, 76, of R.R.1, Henry, who died October 24, at St. Margaret's hospital, Spring Valley, were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Ries Mortuary, Henry. The Rev. George Hunt of the Henry Methodist church officiated. Burial was in the family lot in the Henry cemetery. Pallbearers were her nephews, James Downey, John Allen, Robert, Dean, Thomas and Patrick McAllister. She was born September 22, 1890 in Putnam County, the eldest daughter of Charles and Margaret McKirgan McAllister. The family also resided in Knox County for a short period then moved to a farm east of Whitefield where she finished her schooling. She taught school for a year and a half before her marriage on February 26, 1913 to Roland Doyle of that community. He preceded her in death July 19, 1963. Surviving are two sons, Wilbur and Lawrence of Henry; two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Lucille) Bogner of Henry and Mrs. C. F. (Elizabeth) Woodfill of Chillicothe; eleven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Rebecca) Wheeler of Putnam; two brothers, Ben McAllister of Mt. Sterling, Illinois and John of Danvers; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and a host of friends. Preceding her in death with her parents and her husband were two brothers, Park and Joe, and one sister, Mrs. William (Martha) Downey. She was a member of the Henry Methodist church, W.S.C.S. of the church and the Whitefield Home Bureau.
