Biography

When Elizabeth McAlpin was born in 1843 in Georgia, her father, James, was 31, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 30. In 1850, she was with her parents and siblings in Andersons, Georgia. ^[1]She married John Walker on July 15, 1858.^[2] In 1860, they are living in DeKalb County, Georgia with one daughter. ^[3]In 1870, they are living in Evans, Georgia with five children.^[4] By 1880, they have eight children. ^[5]She died on February 7, 1897, in De Kalb, Georgia, at the age of 54.
