Frederick was born in on 12 January 1871 in Parua Bay. [1]
His mother was Jane Mary Norton, born in Portugal, arrived in New Zealand on ship 'Winterthur' 23 May 1865 with her family. [2]
Frederick McAlpine married Alice Dando on 30 Mar 1896 in Waihi.[3]
He passed away on 16 Sept 1952. [4]
He was buried in Pukerimu Lawn Cemetery, Paeroa, Hauraki District, Waikato, New Zealand
