Hugh was married,probably in Bedford County, to MarthaC.____ b.1822. In 1850 they were living in the 9th district of Bedford County, adjoining his father. Ten years later,in 1860,they were living nearby in the 10th district of Bedford County. There is no further record,save mention in the settlement of Charles McBrides' estate in 1866.
