Biography
Charles was married about 1845, to Elizabeth A.__b.1826 They had one son, Martin L. McBride b.1848/49 .in 1870 he was living in Union City, Tennessee. Elizabeth died shortly after 1850.Thete is record that Charles married in Montgomery County,Tennessee on July 27,1853,to Susan A. Johnson.they had one child Sarah E. McBride b.1858.In 1850 Charles was a teacher in Henry County.At sometime in the 1850s he was ordained as a minister of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he continued for the rest of his life.Church records indicate that he worked in several Counties in Missouri,until the end of his life ,His exact resting place is unknown to this source.
