Biography

BANAGER F McCARTHY was born in 1811 in Edgefield, South Carolina, to MARTHA BODDIE and MICHAEL McCARTHY. He married SARAH PHILLIPS on May 5, 1833, in Jefferson, Alabama. They had eight children in 16 years. He died on June 25, 1860, at the age of 49.
