Florida Times-Union Jacksonville, Duval Co., FL Monday, Sept 8, 1947, Page 12 William A. McCain McCain - William A. McCain passed away at a local hospital Friday. Surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. J. J. Kelly, Coffee Springs, Ala and Mrs. W. O. Middlebrooks, Miami, Fla, one son, Edward McCain, Long Beach, Calif., one daughter, Mrs. Hugh Keale(sp), Long Beach, Calif., a half-sister, Mrs. Delia Hitchcock, Portland, Ore., and one step-son, Edwin Dyal, Miami, Fla. McCain was a native of Nebraska and came to the city 13 years ago from Miami, Fla. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm this afternoon in the Chapel of Key-McCabe Funeral Home with the Rev. Albert Carnell of the Woodlawn Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Brandy Branch Cemetery.
