Sarah was keeping house on the farm in Coles, Fayette County, Alabama, USA in 1900. She is 61 years old now and Jacob is 67. The only children left in the home are Zilpha (28) and Thomas G. (25).[3]

Sarah passed away on 6 Apr 1919 in Fayette County, Alabama, aged 80. She was laid to rest in the Hubbertville Church of Christ Cemetery, Hubbertville, Fayette County, Alabama, USA.[6]
