The 1880 Census shows Sarah was 41 years old and keeping house in Fayette County, Alabama, USA with husband Jacob (48) and children John T. (16); Leah C. (13); Andrew J. (10); Zilpha A. (8); Thomas G. (5); Sarah F. (3); and Regina A. (3/12).[2]

Sarah was keeping house on the farm in Coles, Fayette County, Alabama, USA in 1900. She is 61 years old now and Jacob is 67. The only children left in the home are Zilpha (28) and Thomas G. (25).[3]

In 1910, Sarah (71) and Jacob (77) are living with their son Thomas (35) and daughter-in-law Mary Ann (29) and their children on their farm in Coles, Fayette County, Alabama.[4]

On 18 Jan 1917 Sarah applied for Jacob's Confederate pension In Fayette County, Alabama, USA.[5]

Sarah passed away on 6 Apr 1919 in Fayette County, Alabama, aged 80. She was laid to rest in the Hubbertville Church of Christ Cemetery, Hubbertville, Fayette County, Alabama, USA.[6]
