The household at that time included her younger sister Annetta, also unmarried and working as a teacher, her widowed aunt Annetta C. McAllister (age 78), her unmarried aunt Emma A. Steinbrenner (age 73) and her mother Mary S. McCall (age 65). Her mother is listed as married for 42 years, but no husband is included in the residence.
