Biography
He changed the spelling of McCall to MacCall in the 1920s.
In 1925, Donald was studying at Oswego (New York), a school specializing in industrial arts, but the New York Census lists his address as Southampton, New York (Long Island).
In 1930, Donald was a high school teacher of science and industrial arts.
In 1932, Donald was appointed principal of the Connecticut State Home and School for crippled children, Newington, CT (Cattaraugus Republican., August 10, 1932, Page 7)
In 1936, Donald served as an instructor for the Civilian Conservation Corps in Attica, NY (The Nunda News 17 Jan 1936)
In 1953 Donald co-founded the Forrestal School on West Hills Road, Huntington, Long Island, NY (The Long Islander 29 Oct 1953). The proposed curriculum was remarkably progressive. Evidence is unclear if the school continued operating after 1954.
