Biography
Robert was the son of Dr. Charles and Lena (Cox) McCall, and the brother of Charles, Margaret, Glenn, and Clyde. He was born in Rutherford County, North Carolina, in 1928. His father was a dentist, and Robert also became a dentist. Robert served in the US Army during World War II. His wife was Sarah Josephine Smith. Their children were Robert, Jr., Elizabeth, Margaret, and Charles. They were members of the United Methodist Church in Marion, North Carolina. Robert died in 2000 and is buried in Marion.
