James married Mary Murray and they had at least these children:

Research

Marriage While it is possible they married in 1814, it is highly unlikely they married in 1814 and have birth years of 1799 (James) and 1804 (Mary). They are more likely to have married in Slamannan around 1823 if Janet is their first child. If 1814 marriage then their birth years around 1793 more likely.

Searched ScotlandsPeople Church registers - Marriages and Banns 1800 to 1823. Mary Murray as the first party and James as the second with the only result Mary Murray married James MacCallum on or after 9 May 1814 in Perth, Perthshire, Scotland.[1]

Other Children A Grizel McAllum was baptised in 1821 in New Monkland whose parents are James Mcallum and Mary Murray.

A John McCallum has been added to this family in FamilySearch https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LB25-139. Is he related? His 'native place' according to headstone is Paisley Scotland. Is this close enough and cannot find a John McCallum born to James and Mary.
