Biography
Isabel Jean McCann was born 1916, her birth registered in the Adelaide district, South Australia, as the daughter of Ellen Beatrice McCann. Isabel was known to her family as Jean. [1]
In 1920, Jean's mother, Ellen, married Harry Palmer. [2]

ENGAGEMENT
PALMER — BRITTEN. — The engagement is announced of Jean, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H Palmer, of Glynde road, Firle, to Reginald James (Jim), only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Britten, of 32 Yeronga avenue, Kensington Park. [3]
Jean wed Jim later in the same year. [4]
Isabel Jean passed away on 17th August 1996, aged 80. Her cremated remains were interred at Enfield Memorial Park, Clearview. The online burial record records her last residence was in the same Adelaide suburb of Clearview. The ashes of her husband were placed nearby in 2005. [5]
