Sergeant Patrick McCann Sr served with 5th South Carolina Regiment, Continental Army during the American Revolution.
He resided in Kershaw County and served in the Revolutionary War enlisting in the 5th Regiment on 26 Jan 1777 from South Carolina and became Corporal on 23 March of that year and Seargeant on 28 Dec 1777.[2][1]
Patrick died in 1833 in Wayne County, Mississippi.[3][1]
