Biography
Robert was born about 1845. He was the son of Robert McCarron and Jane Graham.
His parents and 4 of his siblings - Matilda, John, William and Hugh - emigrated to the Colony of Victoria around in several groups in the early to mid 1860s.
It is believed that Robert, and older sister Jane had both passed away prior to the family emigrating.
The family said they were from County Tyrone, however in present day terms, they had a farm just on the Donegal side of the current Donegal/Tyrone border (Fearn Townland)
