Biography

Bridget was born in 1855, she is the daughter of Neal McCarron and Mary Doherty.

Her Godparents were recorded as Paddy Noon and Rose Doherty. Her Father's first name has been miss-transcribed (by rootsireland) as Michael - a link to the original Baptismal records is below, it can be seen that his name was Neal.

The witnesses at her wedding were Patrick Doherty & Catherine Doherty and her Father's name was recorded as Neil McCarron.

There was an additional note added to her Church Marriage record:

"DISP.IN BANNS IN 4TH AND 4TH CONSANG. BY WILLIAM O'DOHERTY"

Her cause of death was recorded as 'Probably Senility', she was recorded as 86 years, a widow and living in Cloontagh. Her son Michael (Cloontagh) registered her death. ^[1]
