Marjorie was born to Ernest and Elsbeth (Petrich) McCartney. She married William A. Kelly on Aug. 25, 1950, at LaPrairie Center Methodist Church. He died June 19,1971.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Georgia Russell; and one grandson, William Joseph Kelly.

She is survived by two sons, Scott E. (Paulette) and Rick G. (Debbie) Kelly; two brothers, George (Willard) McCartney and Wayne (Delores) McCartney; a sister, Katherine (Fred) Kelly; six grandchildren, Mendy (Tim) Courtway, Michelle, Jennefer, Christopher, Brittany and Whitney; and three great-grandsons, Logan Kelly, Brandon and Blake Courtway.

She was a secretary for Wilson Insurance and Lequia Insurance, both in Henry, and State Farm Insurance in Lacon.
