Arena was born in 1820. She was a daughter of Alford McCarty (1791 - 1850) and Sarah Walker McCarty (1795 - 1877). She passed away in 1859, and was buried at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, Jasper County, Mississippi.[1]

Then 1870 Census, Center Point, Jasper County, Mississippi, he was listed as Zediokan Rayner 55, and married to Sarah 25.
