Biography
Matthew Lowry McCaslin was born on October 31, 1862, in Boulder, Colorado to Matthew Lowry and Miranda (Haggerty) McCaslin. He married Mary Helen Montgomery on October 20, 1887, in Hygiene, Colorado. They were the parents of Katharine Mccaslin (born 1888), Jane Craig (1891–1968), George (1894–1982), Wilder D. (1896–1967), Vera (1898–1976), Edith (1901–1971), Miranda (1904–1997), and Andrew (1909–1932). He died on January 7, 1936, in Boulder, Colorado at the age of 73, and was buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Longmont, Colorado.
