Mary Ann, the daughter of Peter and Anna Elisabeth (Lawless) McCauley was born on 7 June 1869 at Tunnel City, Wisconsin. Her parents were from Ireland.
Marriage and Children
Mary Ann married Charles Lorenzo Vandervort, the son of James Baker and Mary Anna (McIntire) Vandervort on 15 September 1889 at Tomah, Wisconsin.[1][2] They had three children:
Elizabeth Ann Vandervort (b. 1890; d. 1943), m. 6 Jul 1912 at Tomah, WI, Arthur Daniels (1887-1964)
Charles Floyd Vandervort (b. 1892; d. 31 Oct 1942, St Paul, MN),[3] m. Clara Ann VanBuren (1890-1966)
Kathryn Mae Vandervort (b. 1902; d. 1973), m. 14 Apr 1922 at Hettinger, ND, Ole O. Tangen (1889-1958)
Death and Burial
Mary Ann (McCauley) Vandervort died on 17 March 1903 of Typhoid Fever in her 33rd year at Gladstone, Delta, Michigan.[4]She is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Tomah, Monroe, Wisconsin[5]
