On the official 'New South Wales, Australia, Assisted Immigrant Passenger Lists, 1828-1896' for March 1839 for the ship "Susan", Bernard McCawley is listed as 'Master-at-Arms' for 9 Ships Corporals - "Susan" at sea 10 November 1838. Signed by Charles Kennedy, Surgeon Superintendant, and again on the next page with Sydney 1st February 1839. Transcript arrival date is given as 10 March 1839.
