Jack McChesney MCChesney, Jack – Was born in Weiser, Idaho on October 7, 1920 to parents Levi (Lee) Doughitt McChesney and Margaret Maloney, and passed away May 11, 1997. He is survived by his wife, Lauretta Cartmill McChesney of Dillard, Oregon whom he married January 26, 1946 in Baker, Oregon; two daughters, Patricia Jackson and her husband Richard of Myrtle Creek and Jacqueline McChesney of Dillard, Oregon; two grandchildren, Glenda Bassa and her husband Daniel of Crescent, Oregon and Brent Jackson of Corvallis, Oregon; three great-grandchildren, Christina, Jonathon and Amanda of Crescent Oregon; two sisters, Sister Mary Sharon McChesney of Denver, Colorado and Patricia Wiseman and her husband Walter of Marathon, Wisconsin; numerous nieces and nephews throughout the continental USA and in Alaska; mothers, Daisy and Caroline. He is also survived by numerous brothers in the Oddfellows, Encampment, Union #2949 and the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks as well as numerous other friends. Services will be held at the Myrtle Creek Elks Lodge on Saturday, May 17 at 2 p.m. with members of the Canyon Encampment #79 and conducted by the Past Exalted Rulers of BPOE 1943.
