Alexander was born in 1831. He is the son of William McCleary and Eliza Edmonson. [1]

  • In 1881 (Trafalgar, Halton County), his name is registered as "Alex McClarey", born 1833 (48y), and lodging with the family of David and Emman Featherson, and working as a Farm Labourer
  • In 1891, (Trafalgar, Halton County), his name is registered as "Alex McClear", aged 62, is lodging with 39 year old lumberman William Hood.
