Biography

Joseph Ross McClellan, son of Elias and Elizabeth (McEachern) McClellan, was born on 3 March 1836 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.[1] He was a farmer when he appeared on the census of 17 Sep. 1850 in the home of his father and step-mother at Cabarrus County, North Carolina.[2].

He married Margaret C. Long on 29 Sep. 1859 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.[1]

Joseph died on 7 May 1915 in North Carolina and was buried at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Midland, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. His memorial has a photo of his headstone biographical material and links to those of family members.[1]
