Biography
William McClelland, a prominent citizen of Millersburg, Bourbon County, Kentucky, died on 12 November 1812
William presumably migrated from Cumberland County, Pennsylvania (which was then a part of Lancaster County);
In 1777, William enlisted as an Ensign in Captain Alexander McCoy's 5th Battalion of the Cumberland County Militia in the Revolutionary War.
