Biography

Henry McClintock, the son of John McClintock and Patience Foster, was born in 1783.

He was a Captain in the Army before he married, and became Collector of Customs at Dundalk after his marriage.

".....The younger son of the marriage of John McClintock, M. P., and Patience Foster, was Henry, who filled the office of Collector of Customs at Dundalk for the long period of thirty years. He married Elizabeth Melesina, daughter of Archibald Fleury, of Waterford....."[1]

He died in 1843.
