James McClung (1744-1839) served as a Lieutenant in the Northumberland County, Pennsylvania Militia. Was also 2nd Lieutenant for Captain Arthur Taggart and Colonel James Potter. Also a private under Captain Wm Grey and Colonel Morrow. He obtained a pension for his service - S16196. [1]

as per the DAR: Spouse Jean Strain. Daughter Rebecca m. Henry McCartney.
