Biography

John was born in 1869. Son of Sylvester McClure and Mary Reeves. [1]

In 1870 he was 1 and living with his parents, Sylvester and Mary, and siblings in Illinois. [2]

His father died about 1872.

In 1880 he was living with his mother Mary, his brother Sylvester, and his stepfather Arthur Butler in Illinois. [3]

He married Minnie Harris in 1890. [4]

Children:

  1. Jennie born on 10 Jun 1891 and married in 1909. [5]
  2. Nellie. Married in 1922. [6] Died in 1940. [7]
  3. Opal
  4. Grace

In 1900 John and Minnie were living in Indiana with 3 daughters: Jennie, Nellie and Opal. [8]

He passed in 1951. [9]

John was buried in Gracelawn Cemetery, Flint, Genesee County, Michigan. [10]
