Biography

John William Gordon McClure was born in 1876 in Taradale, Victoria, Australia, the son of Jessie (Taylor) McClure and Nathaniel McClure.^[1]

He married Grace Lee Garden in 1901 in Victoria.^[2] Their children were:

• Jessie Rene Main McClure (1906–?)^[3]
• Nathaniel John Dunbar McClure (1908–?)^[4]

John died in 1926 in Bendigo, Victoria, aged 49 years.^[5][6] His remains were buried at Taradale Cemetery.^[7]
