DIED – JANUARY 29, 2002 ** VESTA MCCOMAS BLANKENSHIP, 82, of Wayne, WV. Born September 3, 1919, in Wayne County, a daughter of the late Tilmon McComas and Rachel Adkins McComas. Preceded in death by her husband, Andy Blankenship; and one son, Carlos Blankenship. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Audrey (Bo) and Lois Blankenship and Arthur and Carol Blankenship; four daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Oscar Epling, Maxine and Ben McCreadie, Marlene and Jay Thompson and Evelyn and Bill Edmonds; one sister, Vina Triplett. Burial February 1, 2002 in Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne.
