James married Sarah Downing on 6 July 1798 in Mason, Kentucky. Bondsman at Wedding was Joseph Downing, Sarah's brother.[1]
He appears on the 1810 and 1819 tax lists in Brown, Ohio.
He is mentioned as deceased in the will of his wife Sarah filed at Clinton County on 31 Aug 1826.[2]
