Biography
Sarah Evelyn "Eva" McCord was born on February 12, 1879, in Crofton, Kentucky, to William McCord and Emma Brasher. In the 1880 census her parents were living with Vina McCord, her grandmother. [1]
She married George W Lovan in 1898 and in the 1900 census they had a young daughter and were living with his parents in Bainbridge, Kentucky. [2] In 1910, they were living on Princeton Street in Crofton. George was a Physician in General Practice, they owned their home free and clear, and they had three children. [3]
She died on November 30, 1936, in Clarksville, Tennessee, at the age of 57, and was buried in her hometown in the Ridge Top Cemetery. [4]
