Birth: between 1735 and 1739 probably in Franklin County Pennsylvania

Note : In the Jakes File #924 in the appendix a Pvt Wm. McCord is listed under Capt. William Strain from 1780-82 with the note that he settled in Franklin County prior to 1745 and built the Fort; his wife was Sarah.
