Biography

Andrew was born about 1856 in Galashiels, Scotland. His father was an Irish native hailing from Sligo. Andrew married Hannah Watson, from a Presbyterian family, in 1875. She converted to Roman Catholic after marrying him. They had two children in Scotland before returning to Ireland.

In the 1881 Scottish Census, living in 61 Cobden St, Alva, Stirling, Scotland.
