Tom McCormack died at the Exchange Hotel in Marlin, Falls, Texas on January 11, 1918, from bronchopneumonia. He had been staying there for six days, and his usual residence was Livingstone, Texas. A note on his death record reads, He was a visitor here we mailed out a certificate and haven't had it back. No next of kin or other family are listed.
