Biography

Catherine was the sixth of seven children born to Manus and Catherine O'Grady McCormick.^[1] Her father died when she was seven years old.

Catherine lived on the family farm with her mother, sister and brothers until 1914,^{[2][3][4] [5]} when ownership passed from her mother to her brother James and to her sister Mary Walter.

Catherine died in Guelph, Ontario, two years later at age 45. She had suffered from locomotor ataxia for about two years prior to her death.^[6]
