Although born in the US, the death certificate indicates he lived there only 25 of his 37 years, so perhaps he was born in Manhattan. The death certificate indicates he was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery on the 12 of Feb 1885, although the cemetery interment list says 13 Feb, 1885. Death certificate spells his name McCormack, interment list spells it MC CORMICK, and the groundstone lists it as McCormack. His wife Sarah spelled it McCormack. Civil War veteran.
