PPS Did you discover that the tags on your profile are clickable links to a page of other people who have that tag? You can add more, up to 20 total.

My father Joseph McCormick (b. 1933, d 2012, Westfield, MA) was adopted and we are seeking to confirm his surname and paternal line. My YDNA shows many matches at the 37 marker level with TROTTs who emigrated from England to US in mid 1800's. I believe I am related to Richard TREAT (b. TROTT changed name on emigration) who arrived in America in 1637 and settled in Wethersfield, CT area. We are seeking TREATs from the CT line who have YDNA tested.
