Margaret Viola McCormick was born about 1920 in Timmins, Cochrane, Ontario, Canada.[1]
Margaret married John William McCarthy (born on March 25, 1919 in Sandwich South Township, Essex; son of Alfred Joseph McCarthy and Mary Margaret (McCloskey) McCarthy).
Margaret died on August 23, 1967 in Oldcastle, Tecumseh, Essex, Ontario, aged 46. She was buried in Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Maidstone, Essex County, Ontario.[1]
Obituary
Mrs. John McCarthy, age 47 years, wife of Mr. McCarthy of South Talbot Road, passed away at Grace Hospital on Wednesday, August 23rd, after a lingering illness. Born Margaret McCormick in Timmins, deceased has lived at R. R. 3, Maidstone, for 17 years. Deceased was a member of the C. W. League and Altar Society of St. Mary's-Church. Besides her husband John and father, William McCormick, she is survived by sons, William and Michael, and daughter Kathleen, all at home; three brothers, Harold and Leonard, all of Windsor. Funeral was held on Saturday morning from Janisse Bros. Funeral Home to St. Mary's Church for Requiem Mass, Rev. Fr. J. M. Fogarty officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. R.I.P. Published Sept. 1, 1967.
